Artist + Designer
Kelley Moseley (designs under the label K~FLEYE) seeks to promote & compliment individual style. This
Chicago native is a self-taught artist that is willing to push traditional standards & methods by introducing
a collection of unconventional jewelry, accessories and style. Each 'peace' is created with
love, life, joy and freedom. K~FLEYE also designs limited edition handbags & clothing.
Enjoy the collection, celebrate life and dance as if no one is watching. Moseley creates at her Chicago
studio.
Moseley
was born and raised in the historic Austin community on the west side of Chicago. She attended and graduated
from Providence St. Mel grade school & high school. She continued her education at Bradley University
(Peoria, IL) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Journalism and African American studies.
Moseley continues to reinvest in the community just as the community continues to invest in her mission, vision &
business philosophy. Moseley organizes events for entrepreneurs in various communities as well as teach
jewelry classes at the local library. In 2007 she was awarded the Dynamic Diva of Austin Community for her service and dedication.
Moseley has been a career day participant
at various schools such as Whitney Young, Fredrick Douglas, Austin Career Academy & Entrepreneur Business School, Holy
Trinity, Howland Charter-The Catalyst Schools, CICS Basil Campus, Providence
Englewood, Providence St. Mel, and Common Ground nfp as well as a host of other community organizations. Moseley
also donates a large portion of her time and talents to area businesses by providing marketing, promotions, event-planning
ideas, merchandising as well as retail support. Moseley also tours various colleges, universities and churches
discussing imaging and the hard work that it takes to be an entrepreneur.
In the future, Moseley intends to extend her community imitative
by bringing art to as many communities like the one she grew-up in on the west side of Chicago. The workshops
will provide educational assistance, various art & heath classes as well as paid business professional internships for
qualifying area high school students and transitioning adults.
